SIGN: NSWA Withholds pay rise for Covid class.

*NOTE: this petition is ONLY for members of the 2020 covid class to sign!!*

NSWA, as usual, is messing with its workers to save money. 

The graduate paramedic class of 2020 were held back from becoming P1s incrementally, by up to 6 months, due to covid restrictions. Now, by no fault of their own, NSWA refuses to pay their upgrades on their anniversary date and are withholding their award-mandated pay increases by up to 6 months. This is blatant wage theft. 

This should not be an issue. 

This class, back in 2021, banded together and fought for their pay upgrade to be on time. They put up an excellent fight and forced NSWA to upgrade their pay, and back pay them. NSWA, however, is deciding to “forget” this happened.

If this continues, these members will be incorrectly paid for the next 3 years, until they reach the year 6 pay scale. Thus, this issue is time sensitive and must be fixed now. 

NSWA, as we know, loves to waste time. So, members are letting them know that we are ready to fight.
