Congratulations to everyone who signed the petition, Deakin University has reversed their stance.

We call on Professor Iain Martin to respect the Deakin enterprise agreement 2017 specifically clause 73 and allow representation for staff during the MWC meetings.

Why is this important?

This is a fundamental workplace right and shows a clear lack of care for staff to ignore and erode workers rights during this time of crisis whilst hundred of Deakin staff are made redundant.
