Keep the Ida Bar open!
The Unimelb student union has moved into a new precinct. However, it's completely unclear whether the Ida Bar will be moved across as well. The uni hasn't opened the commercial tender process that would allow the Ida to be considered. We need students to make the uni know that the Ida needs to stick around.
Why is this important?
Nearly every student club, society, and department uses the Ida for their events. It's a cheap and easy space to hire, plus it's much safer for students to have access to a bar under the supervision of the union than anywhere else. Not only that but the Ida is almost exclusively staffed by students.
