Guaranteed paid special leave for Victorian ambulance workers
Ambulance Employees Australia - Victoria (AEAV) is demanding that Ambulance Victoria guarantee sufficient paid special leave for ALL employees.
We believe no AV employee should be worse off by having to confront COVID-19 and that Ambulance Victoria should provide sufficient paid special leave if:
- Staff contract COVID-19
- Staff are required to self-isolate
- Staff have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19
- Staff have caring responsibilities as a result of COVID-19
