Free Childcare for All!
A lack of affordable child care impacts on working families. We are calling for FREE childcare for all families. Benefits of free childcare are greater productivity, higher participation and flexibility in the workforce and socialisation for children prior to schooling.
Why is this important?
All parents are affected by this issue. Childcare fees are prohibitive for most families; mainly women and deter parents from being able to fulfil their employment needs and further their careers. This is a social equity and quality of life issue.
