Since the reduction in police presence in Deloraine and the wider Meander Valley, residents and business owners have noticed an increase in crime in their local community.
We, the undersigned, call on the Rockliff Government to provide residents of Deloraine with a 24/7 police presence, including the reopening of the Deloraine Police Station Service Centre.
Cuts to policing in regional towns have led to an increase in crime in our community. Residents and business owners are concerned by this and demand action from their government.

This petition is fighting for community safety in our local towns. Police presence in regional Tasmania is important, and we should not be treated as second-class citizens just because we live in a rural setting.
