Queensland Nurses' Union

The Queensland Nurses' Union (QNU) is the industrial and professional organisation for nurses and midwives working in public and private health and aged care in Queensland.

The QNU seeks to promote and defend the industrial, professional, social, political and democratic interests of more than 53,000 members.

 Members include:

• Registered nurses
• Midwives
• Enrolled nurses
• Assistants in nursing (however titled)
• Students
• Anyone who undertakes nursing work

There is no other organisation in Queensland which provides comprehensive representation for nurses and midwives as both employees and professionals.
